Syringe Adaptor
The Chemfort™ Syringe Adaptor is PVC-free and fits any standard luer lock connection. It enables closed drug preparation or administration by connecting to any other Chemfort™ component.
It has an internal 16G needle that allows easy withdrawal of drugs, including viscous ones. The needle has a self-retracting mechanism, protecting the manipulator from needle stick injuries.
Its intuitive design makes it easy to use: with minimal effort the Syringe Adaptor can be connected to another Chemfort™ component and a “click” sound will indicate a safe connection.
A simple pinch on the SA wings will disconnect it.
Syringe Adaptor Lock
The Chemfort™ Syringe Adaptor Lock has a unique patented lock system for luer connections, that cannot be opened once locked.
It has an internal 16G needle that allows easy withdrawal of drugs, including viscous ones. The needle has a self-retracting mechanism, protecting the manipulator from needle stick injuries.
The self-sealing elastomers prevent drug leakage and droplet formation on the outer septa surfaces. The protective cap included in the package, allows a safe delivery of a drug filled syringe to the ward, for example in case of bolus injections.
Compliant to the European Sharps Directive
The Syringe Adaptor / Syringe Adaptor Lock’s patented self-retracing needle mechanism prevents needle-stick injuries. The needle come out only after two components are connected. The same happens during the disconnection easily by pinching the SA / SAL wings.
